Regional travel conditions

  • Wisconsin 511 Travel Information - In Wisconsin, a 511 travel information system is accessible by phone (dial 511) and the Web (access www.511wi.gov). Users can access traffic, construction, weather, and other related transportation information.
  • Zoo Interchange (I-94/I-894/US 45) - WisDOT is currently undertaking an environmental and engineering analysis of the Zoo Interchange. WisDOT is working to determine how the interchange should be rebuilt to ensure that it serves the economy for decades to come.
  • US-41 Project: Connecting Wisconsin - US 41 is a 200-mile stretch of highway connecting two crucial economic regions in Wisconsin: southeastern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley. Construction work on the US 41 Project will span over 17 miles of highway in Winnebago County from 2009-2016, and 14 miles in Brown County from 2010-2016.
  • Gary-Chicago-Milwaukee Travel Information - The GCM Web site provides travel times, congestion, construction and other real-time traffic data for expressways and tollways in Milwaukee, Chicago and Gary, Indiana.
  • Lake County PASSAGE - PASSAGE provides motorists real time traffic congestion information on Lake County's interstate and arterial highways covering all of Lake County, IL. Lake County is the northeastern most county in Illinois.
